Creatine may do more than build muscle; it could help the brain fight Alzheimer’s
A recent study from the University of Kansas Medical Center suggests that creatine supplementation may benefit individuals with Alzheimer’s disease. The pilot study revealed that creatine increased brain energy levels and moderately improved working memory and executive function in participants. While preliminary, the findings warrant further investigation into creatine’s potential as a brain booster for Alzheimer’s patients.
