Elephants driven out of coffee plantations in Kodagu

The forest department successfully drove a herd of over ten wild elephants, including a calf, from coffee plantations in Badaga Banangala village back into the forest. The operation, led by Deputy Range Forest Officer Shashi, targeted elephants that had taken refuge in a private company’s coffee plantations.
