Over 200 stranded after heavy rains in Nanded; army called in for rescue efforts

In Maharashtra’s Nanded district, an army unit has been deployed to aid in rescue operations after over 200 people became stranded due to intense rainfall. The State Disaster Response Force has already rescued 21 individuals in Mukhed taluka. With a yellow alert issued by the IMD, continued heavy rains are expected.
