Mandya jewellery heist: Prime accused shot by police; 5 arrested in theft & murder case

Mandya district police apprehended five individuals involved in the Kirugavalu jewellery shop theft and murder case, with the prime suspect, Kiran, sustaining a gunshot wound during the arrest after attacking a police constable. The gang had broken into the shop, looted gold and silver, and tragically murdered a hotel owner who witnessed their crime.
