Punjab man sentences to life for murdering mother-in-law; fined Rs 10,000

A Ludhiana court sentenced Surinderpal Singh to life imprisonment for the 2018 murder of his mother-in-law, Harvinder Kaur. The prosecution argued that Singh attacked Kaur with a sharp weapon due to her intervening in his quarrels with his wife.
