The King Cobra, world’s longest venomous snake, resides across South and Southeast Asia’s forests. A specimen, recorded at 18 feet 8 inches in Malaysia, was once housed at the London Zoo. Uniquely, it preys on other snakes, even its own kind. The female fiercely guards her nest until hatching.
