Anish Bhanwal dazzles in 25m rapid fire, claims silver in Asian Championships

Anish Bhanwal secured a silver medal in the 25m rapid fire event at the Asian Championships in Shymkent. This is his first silver in the senior category. He narrowly missed gold to China’s Lianbofan Su. In the junior event, Sameer Gulia won a bronze medal. Korea’s Geonwoo Son secured gold after a shootoff with Kazakhstan.
