‘Unfortunate occurrences can be avoided’: BSF-BGB talks flag border row; vow zero tolerance on insurgents

Border Security Force and Border Guard Bangladesh met in Dhaka. They discussed border attacks on BSF personnel by Bangladeshi individuals. BSF raised concerns about injuries to its personnel. The two sides also talked about construction near the international border. They agreed to coordinate patrols and increase public awareness. The next meeting is scheduled for March 2026 in New Delhi.
