One woman in every family in Bihar to get Rs 10k for self-employment

Bihar’s cabinet has approved the Mukhyamantri Mahila Rojgar Yojana to boost women’s employment. The scheme offers ₹10,000 as an initial installment, with potential additional assistance up to ₹2 lakh. Applications begin next month, with funds disbursed in September. The initiative aims to empower women and create local job opportunities, managed by the Rural Development Department.
