Punjab govt orders closure of educational institutions till September 7

Punjab’s government has declared the closure of all educational institutions until September 7, responding to the widespread devastation caused by recent floods. Education Minister Harjot Singh Bains announced the directive on X, emphasizing that Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann ordered the closure of all schools, colleges, universities, and polytechnics, including government, aided, recognized, and private institutions.
