Amazon is ending Prime subscription-sharing program on October 1: What is changing

Amazon is ending its Prime Invitee Program. This program allowed sharing of free shipping benefits. The change will happen on October 1, 2025. A new Amazon Family option will replace it. This new option requires all members to live at the same address. Those who do not live with the account holder must buy their own Prime membership.
