Cashew industry in Andhra Pradesh hit by illegal imports

The Andhra Pradesh Cashew Manufacturers’ Association (APCMA) is addressing the issue of illegal cashew kernel imports disguised as cattle feed, which circumvents import duties and creates unfair competition. They are urging authorities to prevent these imports and abolish the Agriculture Market Committee (AMC) cess on cashew kernels.
