Girish Mathrubootham steps down as executive chairman of Freshworks; to focus on his VC firm Together Fund

Girish Mathrubootham will resign as Freshworks’ executive chairman in December 2025. He founded the SaaS company fifteen years ago. Roxanne Austin will become chairperson. Mathrubootham will focus on his AI venture fund, Together Fund. He aims to support India’s growth in AI. He also co-founded SaaSBoomi. He wants to dedicate his energy to make India a true product nation.
