Udupi: Temple committee head booked for harassing woman over invitation visit; case registered

A 29-year-old woman filed a complaint with Amasabail Police Station, alleging that a man misbehaved with her at his residence. She visited him to deliver an invitation for the Dharmasthala Dharma Samrakshana Yatra meeting. The accused, head of a temple’s managing committee, allegedly touched her hand and insisted she stay, causing her distress and prompting her to leave immediately.
