Oisin Murphy’s horse dies at Ascot as jockey is hospitalised after rough fall and stewards postpone enquiry

A tragic incident unfolded at Ascot as Oisin Murphy’s mount, Excellent Echo, suffered a fatal fall in the seventh race. The three-year-old clipped heels and could not be saved, while jockey Sam James, riding Nordic Norm, was also injured in the same incident and taken to hospital.
