Why is there a discussion on PM Modi absence and the guest list at Donald Trump Ceremony?

On Monday, January 20, Donald Trump will make history once again by taking oath as the 47th President of America.

He became the President for the first time on January 20, 2017. Now Trump is returning to the US President’s office after being out for four years. This is a historic return in this century.

However, he is the second US President to do so. Before Trump, this feat was in the name of Grover Cleveland, who became the President of America for the first time in 1885 and after losing the election in 1889, he returned again in 1893.

As the ‘Comeback King’, Trump is preparing to make his inauguration ceremony grand to make it dramatic, although some people may call it his show-off.
