To accommodate pilgrims for the Pitripaksh Mela, the tourism department has established a 2,500-bed tent city in Gaya. The fair, which began on Saturday and continues until September 21, anticipates a large influx of devotees for ‘pind daan’ and ‘tarpan’ rituals.
