National Green Tribunal (NGT) orders Hamirpur Municipal Corporation to clear 1,000 metric tonnes legacy waste at Dughneri site within 6 months

The National Green Tribunal has directed the Hamirpur Municipal Corporation to remove legacy waste from its Dughneri village plant within six months. The Tribunal instructed Commissioner Abhishek Garg to submit a plan for clearing the waste and improving waste processing. A report revealed the plant processes less than half the waste it receives daily.
