Sr govt official dies after bus hits bike from behind in Guirim

Narayan Abhyankar, a senior government official, died in an accident at Guirim. A bus hit his two-wheeler from behind. The accident occurred around 10.45 am. Abhyankar was on his way to Panaji for work. The bus driver, Premanand Kanoji, has been arrested. Abhyankar is survived by his wife and three children. He was promoted to under-secretary a year ago.
