AIIMS-Patna launches programme on newborn and child safety

AIIMS Patna initiated a weeklong awareness program focusing on newborn and child safety, led by Dr S Varshney. Dr Divendu Bhushan emphasized the importance of educating expectant mothers on safety measures, including regular weight checks and timely vaccinations. The program includes poster presentations, outreach, rangoli competition and BLS training for security guards.
