27-year-old man arrested for abduction and rape of 15-year-old girl in Kandhamal district

A 27-year-old man was apprehended in Kandhamal district for allegedly abducting and raping a 15-year-old girl. The survivor, a Class IX student, was abducted while returning from a Ganesh idol immersion. After an FIR was lodged by the victim’s sister, police initiated a search, leading to the accused’s arrest and the seizure of his car.
