Teacher aspirants demanding vacancy hike baton-charged in Patna
Teacher aspirants in Patna protested, demanding the Bihar Public Service Commission increase vacancies to 1.2 lakh for the TRE-4 exam. The demonstration was halted, and when protesters refused to disperse, police used water cannons and batons, injuring some and detaining others. Aspirants are also requesting a one-candidate-one-result policy and certificate verification before results.
