State government unveils draft e-vehicle policy 2.0 aimed at achieving 50% EV registration by 2030
Odisha’s commerce and transport department has introduced the draft ‘E-Vehicle Policy 2.0’, mandating the conversion of all government vehicles to EVs and promoting EV adoption across various segments with incentives. The policy encourages private investment in charging infrastructure and sets ambitious EV registration targets for the coming years, aligning with India’s net-zero emissions goal by 2070.
