Limison elected Meghalaya dy speaker

Limison D Sangma of the National People’s Party (NPP) has been elected unopposed as the deputy speaker of the Meghalaya Legislative Assembly, representing the Raksamgre constituency. His election comes after Timothy D Shira’s resignation, with no other nominations received by the deadline. Speaker Thomas A Sangma is expected to formally announce Limison’s election during the autumn session.
