Education Minister Rakkam A. Sangma announced in the assembly that Shillong Engineering College has commenced operations since August. Chief Minister Conrad K. Sangma highlighted the government’s efforts in securing approval from the National College Testing Association, preventing a potential academic year loss. Recruitment for the full faculty is underway.
