The Bihar State Board of Religious Trusts (BSBRT) has directed registered temples and mutts to allocate space for ‘akharas’ to promote physical culture and awareness of ‘Satyanarayan Katha’ and ‘Bhagwati Puja’. The board aims to modify rules, mandating space for ‘akharas’ in new registrations and encouraging existing institutions to establish them.
