Tata Steel UISL achieves 100% drinking water production capacity in Jamshedpur

Tata Steel UISL has achieved 100% drinking water production capacity and aims to surpass 1 lakh water connections in Jamshedpur by July 2026. To meet rising demand, the company commissioned new water treatment plants with advanced filtration and disinfection technologies. Supplying 280 MLD daily through an extensive network, the city’s water consumption averages a high 200 LPCD.
