Karnataka: Man attacked with glass bottle during dinner after argument over cigarette request

A dinner outing turned violent at a hotel near Hattiyangadi Junction. Ganesh from Uttara Kannada was attacked with a glass bottle. The attacker, Prasad alias Rabada, argued with the hotel owner over a cigarette. He then assaulted Ganesh for looking at him. Ganesh was hospitalized. Police registered a case at Kundapur Rural Police Station under relevant sections of the BNS.
