A float plane crash near Makepeace Lake, Manitoba, resulted in the deaths of four St Theresa Point First Nation residents. The de Havilland Canada DHC-2 Beaver went down on land instead of the lake, killing two couples on a weekend trip to their traditional hunting grounds.
