Moran community launches indefinite economic blockade in Assam, seek ST status

The Moran community in Assam’s Tinsukia district has initiated an indefinite economic blockade, halting the transportation of essential resources like oil and coal. Spearheaded by the All Moran Students’ Union, the protest demands Scheduled Tribe status and constitutional upgrades for their autonomous council.
