Former Meghalaya CM Donwa Dethwelson Lapang was laid to rest with full state honors on Monday, including gun salutes, at Jaiaw Presbyterian Church cemetery. A state funeral was held at Students’ Field, where CM Conrad K Sangma and others paid respects to the veteran leader.
