The Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) is appealing to citizens to avoid bringing prasad in polythene bags to Durga Puja pandals to curb single-use plastic. Kiosks with awareness messages and volunteers will be stationed at major pandals to distribute leaflets promoting cleanliness.
