Youth allegedly kidnapped, murdered by suspected maoists in Balaghat on suspicion of being police informer

In Balaghat district’s Lanji area, a tribal youth, Devendra Kushwaha, was allegedly kidnapped and murdered by suspected Maoists, who accused him of spying for the police. Pamphlets left at the scene claimed responsibility, warning locals against cooperating with security forces and accusing the police of violence against villagers. Security forces have intensified search operations in the Malajkhand belt.
