8 new Meghalaya ministers join office

Meghalaya’s new cabinet ministers, inducted after a reshuffle in the NPP-led coalition government, have officially assumed their responsibilities. The eight ministers, representing various parties including NPP, UDP, BJP, and HSPDP, were assigned their portfolios by CM Conrad K Sangma and sworn in on September 16.
