Yasin Malik, jailed JKLF chief, claims he met with Lashkar-e-Taiba founder Hafiz Saeed in 2006 at the request of IB, as part of a backchannel peace process. Malik alleges that then Prime Minister Manmohan Singh expressed gratitude for his efforts.
