Joint Forces in Shillong Unite to Tackle Wildlife Crime in Meghalaya

In Shillong, joint forces convened on September 12, uniting key enforcement agencies to combat wildlife crime in Meghalaya and the northeastern region. The Wildlife Crime Control Bureau (WCCB) and the state forest department spearheaded the meeting, fostering inter-agency coordination. Following this, a two-day capacity-building training enhanced frontline personnel’s skills in wildlife crime enforcement.
