BMC launches waste-to-art contest

The Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation has initiated a waste-to-art contest as part of the ‘Swachhata Hi Seva’ campaign, encouraging citizens to transform waste into art. A city-wide cleanliness drive is scheduled, engaging community members across 40 locations. Ahead of Durga Puja, BMC issued an advisory promoting biodegradable materials and emphasizing cleanliness around pandals, alongside safety and traffic management guidelines.
