Hazaribag police intercepted an ambulance at Chouparan, seizing 43 kg of poppy pods destined for Bihar. Acting on a tip, a special raid team discovered the opium hidden beneath the patient’s seat during a search at the check post. While the driver escaped, authorities are actively pursuing the individual and other members of the smuggling network.
