Centre cancels FCRA licence of Wangchuk’s NGO

The Union home ministry has cancelled the FCRA license of Sonam Wangchuk’s NGO, Students Educational and Cultural Movement of Ladakh, citing alleged violations. These violations include depositing locally generated funds into the FCRA account, diverting funds for impermissible activities like studying the country’s sovereignty, and failing to deposit foreign funds in the designated account.
