Anti-Hindi showdown in Bengaluru: Protesters storm MHA promotional event attended by 6 MPs; over 40 held

In Bengaluru, 41 members of a pro-Kannada group were arrested. They disrupted a Hindi Diwas meeting at a five-star hotel. The meeting was organised by the ministry of home affairs. The protestors barged into the venue and raised slogans. They opposed the promotion of Hindi. The police detained the protestors and restored order.
