Can fibroids and fibroadenomas become cancerous in future?

Fibroids and fibroadenomas are solid growths influenced by hormones like estrogen. In India nearly 20 to 30% women in the reproductive age group have fibroid uterus. While 10% of the world’s female population suffers from fibroadenoma once in their lifetime. The question in bigger picture is, can fibroids and fibroadenomas could turn into cancer?
