Tezpur University teachers seek VC’s removal over ‘remarks on Zubeen & irregularities’

Tezpur University teachers and students are protesting VC Prof. Shambhu Nath Singh over alleged disrespectful remarks about Zubeen Garg and significant financial and administrative irregularities. The Teachers’ Association demands his removal, citing compromised academic integrity and poor-quality infrastructure, submitting a memorandum to the Governor and CM.
