Ranbir Kapoor to turn director soon; has started a writer’s room: ‘I am dying to direct a movie’

Ranbir Kapoor, celebrating his 43rd birthday on September 28, 2025, announced his serious intent to direct films, having already initiated a writer’s room for two ideas. This long-held ambition is now a priority for the actor, who also has two major upcoming releases, ‘Ramayana’ and ‘Love & War,’ scheduled for 2026.
