An attempt-to-rape accused, reportedly a BSF constable, died by suicide in a Khunti police station toilet on Tuesday. He was handed over by locals after allegedly trying to sexually assault a 14-year-old girl. The officer in-charge was suspended, and a probe will be launched into the incident.
