Ryker Evans will miss the start of the 2025-26 NHL season. The Seattle Kraken defenseman is out for six to eight weeks. He sustained an upper-body injury. This delays his development after a strong rookie year. Seattle signed Ryan Lindgren to boost defensive depth. Lindgren will help stabilize the blue line. The Kraken expect Evans to return on schedule.
