Shyamkanu petition in SC seeking CBI, NIA probe into Zubeen death

Shyamkanu Mahanta, an accused in the Zubeen Garg death case, filed a Supreme Court petition. He sought probe transfer to CBI or NIA and protection for his family. Mahanta was arrested by Assam SIT at Delhi airport. He claimed a witch-hunt and denied being present at the singer’s demise in Singapore. SIT later added murder charges in the case.
