Assam mushroom farmer bags national-level Award for excellence in cultivation

Amar Pran Changmai, an Assam mushroom farmer, received the Progressive Mushroom Grower Award at the National Mushroom Mela-2025 for his two decades of pioneering work. He built a successful unit producing 300 kg daily, supplying fresh mushrooms across the Northeast. His efforts have also inspired community development.
