Over 630 gamblers arrested in special drive

Ganjam police arrested over 630 gamblers and seized Rs 23 lakh in cash, along with mobile phones and motorbikes, in a special drive conducted from September 15 to October 5. This crackdown, aimed at curbing illegal activities ahead of Kumar Purnima, will continue until Diwali, significantly reducing open gambling in the district.
