Jharkhand High Court Orders BCCL to Address Dhanbad Air Pollution Crisis

Jharkhand High Court has ordered Bharat Coking Coal Limited (BCCL) to submit an affidavit detailing funds allocated for air pollution control in Dhanbad. The court also requested updated pollution data, as previous figures were two years old. The Dhanbad Municipal Corporation stated it received no funds from BCCL for pollution mitigation. The next hearing is scheduled for November 17.
