Pankaj Kapur and Supriya Pathak have been married for 37 years despite early doubts from Supriya’s mother, who feared Pankaj would leave. They met on a film set in Punjab, which was never released. Supriya credits Pankaj as her acting mentor, calling him her guru and teacher.
